The objective of this study was to establish a Technology Strategy (ET) to promote the development of mathematical skills at the headquarters of the Divina Pastora Educational Institution in the city of Riohacha, Guajira-Colombia. The variable ET was analyzed on the basis of three dimensions, Classes of ET, tools employed in the ET, and components of the ET. A descriptive non-experimental and transectional field. The population was confirmed by the headquarters of the Divina Pastora Educational Institution which were: Villa Fatima, Mother Veronica, Divina Pastora, Santa Maria Goretti, which consisted of 29 key informants among teachers and principals. The technique of data collection was through the survey, through a questionnaire Lickert scale type (with valuation of 1 to 5) consisting of 45 questions, an instrument that was validated in the view of five experts. The reliability of the instrument was established by calculating the coefficient of Cronbach\'s alpha getting a value of 0.91 by which the same was considered highly reliable. The results indicate a moderate level of use for classes of ET (2.80 ± 0.78), technological tools (2.78 ± 0.78), and the components of ± 0.55 ET (2.86). It was concluded that at the headquarters of the Educational Institution Divina Pastora action is required for the adoption of technologies to foster the development of mathematical skills.
The general purpose of this research is to carry out a study for the optimization of the distribution chain in the process of production and marketing of certified organic powdered panela, in ASOSEYNEKUN, an association of productive indigenous families of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, based in the theoretical postulates of Castellanos (2015), Mora (2008), Ballou (2004), Palella & Martins (2012), Hernández (2010), among others. The research methodology is explanatory, with a non-experimental, transactional and field design. Of the total of 170 cane producers affiliated with the association, a representative sample of 118 was analyzed, of which 10% was used to measure reliability through Cronbach\'s alpha (0.924). The results obtained with the instrument, validated by 10 experts, showed that there are differences between the results obtained (significance of 0.0000) with the Anova technique, and, with Tukey\'s post hoc, it was identified that there is a great difference in the first dimension between provisioning and storage indicators and between order processing and transport in the second dimension, order processing, it has a great difference with transport, concluding that there is poor knowledge in the management of its productive and commercial chain. Thus, actions that lead to an optimization of the Association’s distribution chain must be implemented, since weaknesses were evident in indicators, such as the systematization of orders, the commercial relationship between the other services provided, the outsourcing of physical distribution services and, finally, a poor flow of information between the areas in charge, which becomes one of its main problems for the optimal production and marketing of its products.

The academic management of the culture of entrepreneurship in educational entities was analyzed, educational institutions of the Banana Zone municipality of the department of Magdalena were chosen. An empirical descriptive methodology based on observation, documentary analysis, questionnaires and structural analysis was used, using quantitative and qualitative data. An analysis of the determinants of entrepreneurship was carried out, the indicators with low presence were identified and the comparison between determining variables found with the MICMAC technique and the indicators with low presence was made. The results show that, of the indicators with low presence, only one is part of the determining variables, therefore, there is a need to improve said indicator as a priority. According to the structural analysis carried out, it is concluded that the academic management of entrepreneurship is carried out in a good way, but it needs to carry out strategies to improve certain important indicators.
Fluconazole resistant Candida glabrata was isolated from an infant in Jordan University Hospital. The relative expression of resistant CgCDR1 and CgCDR2 genes in this clinical isolate in response to fluconazole in the presence and absence of phosphodiesterase inhibitor IBMX (3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine) was characterized. Dose analysis showed that CgCDR1 was expressed in response to 8, 16, and 24 µg/ml of fluconazole but not to 32 and 40 µg/ml, whereas CgCDR2 was expressed in response to all fluconazole concentrations even in untreated cells but to a lesser extent. Temporal analysis of relative mRNA expression was investigated against the different concentrations but here, results of 24 µg/ml fluconazole will be only represented. CgCDR1 expression appeared after 2, 4, or 6 hrs in response to 24 µg/ml fluconazole, whereas CgCDR2 expression was maintained equally throughout all time intervals and was observed in untreated cells as well. Stabilization of endogenous levels of cAMP by addition of 3mM IBMX further increased expression levels of CgCDR1 and CgCDR2 (to a lesser extent) in time points that have exhibited an increase in expression in response to fluconazole. These results suggest differential upregulation of CgCDR1 and CgCDR2 in fluconazole resistant of C. glabrata and may implicate a possible role of cAMP in resistance mechanism to fluconazole in C. glabrata.
Androgen deficiency syndrome (ADS) comprising consistently low testosterone levels due to disorders of the testes, pituitary, or hypothalamus. Patients with ADS present with sexual dysfunction and infertility associated with small or shrinking testes with severe impairment in spermatogenesis. This systematic review focused on to find scientifically endorsed potential herbs or parts of herbs as dietetic adjuncts to increase circulating testosterone and thus improve the sexual performence.Using the search terms‘androgen’ OR ‘tetosterone’ OR ‘sex hormone’ OR ‘spermatogenesis’AND relevant ‘botanical name’ in the data base PubMed to filter the articles. Out of ninety three articles thirty two met the criteria to this systematic review. Single herbs and some formulations showed their potentiality to improve testosterone levels in blood and thus improved the sexual performance in rat model or in human. This review further surfaced the fact that these herbal interventions potentiate to ameliorate the testicular pathology which were induced by various testicular toxins.
Hyperlipidaemia is a major concern in relation to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) including stroke, myocardial infarction and other cardio-vascular diseases (CVDs). Yet the conventional/ synthetic drugs prescribed for this condition on prolong administration beget various side effects. This systematic review was focused onto scrutinized the various herbs and herbal formulations indicated for this condition with no or minimal side effects. PubMed advanced and Google scholar wasused to filter article up to 2019 December. The search term such as, ‘hyperlipidemia’ OR ‘hypercholesterolaemia’ OR ‘lipid profile’ OR ‘LDL’ AND ‘botanical name’ of the respective herb combine was used. One hundred and nine articles were filtered and 49 were selected for this systematic review. There are many herbal consumables we use daily basis having lipid lowering properties. Human, animal and laboratory studies have proved their efficacies on hyperlipiidemia. However, lack of human trials creates a big gap and more human trials should be done to fortify the efficacy of anti-hyperlipidaemic action of the herbs with no or least side effects for the benefit of the humanity. Further, for the prevention and management of blood lipid disorders, the Government should take necessary steps to enhance public awareness regarding the use of these herbs (nutritional diet) to address this issue along with physical activities.
The response capacity of teachers of the faculty of health sciences of a university in the city of Cartagena was determined, regarding the occurrence of a medical event within its facilities. a descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out; with a sample made up of 60 teachers selected by a simple random sampling. A survey was applied that contemplated the sociodemographic variables knowledge and attitudes to the sudden onset of a disease. Failures were identified in teachers regarding acting in the event of medical eventualities. 51.6% of the surveyed population is not aware of cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers (CPR), 85% say they do not know how to control externalized hemorrhages and 68.3% agree that it is the teacher who must assume the first response to any medical eventuality Present. There are difficulties in terms of knowledge and skills in teachers, in relation to how they should respond to medical eventualities exposed in this research.
